COPROSMA Eclipse

COPROSMA Eclipse

Coprosma ‘Eclipse’ is a compact, evergreen mirror plant grown for its exceptionally glossy, variegated foliage. The small, rounded leaves are mid-green with creamy margins that may flush pink in colder weather, giving long-lasting colour and shine through the year. Best in full sun and well-drained soil, it suits mild and coastal parts of Ireland and is ideal for containers, mixed borders or sheltered coastal gardens where its reflective foliage provides striking contrast. In colder areas, grow in a pot so it can be moved to protection during severe cold; avoid waterlogging and trim lightly to maintain shape. Flowers are small and greenish, and generally inconspicuous; this plant is chiefly valued for foliage.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
