Choisya Sundance

Choisya Sundance

Choisya ternata ‘Sundance’ is a compact, evergreen Mexican orange blossom valued for its vivid yellow foliage and clusters of fragrant, white flowers. Best in sun or light shade in a sheltered spot, it forms a rounded shrub to around 2–2.5m over time, providing year-round colour and a fresh flush of bright golden leaves in spring. Plants thrive in fertile, well‑drained soil and are ideal for mixed borders, as a focal shrub, or near paths and seating where the scented late spring flowers (often with a light repeat in early autumn) can be enjoyed. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain a neat, bushy shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
