CAMPANULA Karen
CAMPANULA Karen
Campanula (bellflower) are dependable herbaceous perennials valued for airy spires or low mounds of foliage topped with nodding or starry, bell-shaped blooms in summer. They are well suited to Irish gardens in full sun or light shade, thriving in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Ideal for informal and cottage-style borders, edging paths, or weaving through mixed plantings. Deadhead to encourage a longer display and divide congested clumps in spring or early autumn to maintain vigour.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
