Brachyglottis ‘Sunshine’ is a compact, bushy evergreen shrub with striking silvery foliage and bright yellow, daisy-like summer blooms, excellent for adding light and contrast in mixed borders and coastal gardens. Growing to about 1–1.5m high and wide, it performs best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, tolerating light shade and dry, sunny conditions once established. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it’s a dependable choice for Irish gardens; lightly trim after flowering to maintain a neat shape, and provide protection in severe or prolonged frost.
