Berberis thunb. 'Golden Dream'®

Berberis thunb. 'Golden Dream'® is a compact, deciduous barberry prized for its vivid golden-yellow foliage, creating bright colour in borders and containers. In spring it carries small, pale yellow flowers that may be followed by red berries for additional seasonal interest. Its naturally dense, spiny growth makes a neat, low mound that suits edging or informal low hedging. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade; fully hardy in Ireland and straightforward to maintain.
