Autumn Sage (Salvia greggii Mirage Pink)
Autumn Sage (Salvia greggii Mirage Pink)
Autumn Sage (Salvia greggii Mirage Pink) is a compact, bushy salvia prized for masses of clear pink flowers from early summer into autumn. Ideal for sunny, well-drained borders, gravel gardens and containers, its aromatic foliage and long flowering period provide reliable colour and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. In Ireland, plant in a warm, sheltered, free‑draining, moderately fertile soil; deadhead to prolong display and lightly trim in spring after the worst frosts. Once established it copes well with dry spells, but avoid waterlogged sites. Expect an eventual height and spread around 30–45 cm.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
