Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana Attraction'
Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana Attraction'
Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana Attraction' is a compact, mound-forming perennial grown for its soft, finely divided, silver foliage that provides luminous texture at the front of sunny borders, gravel gardens and rockeries. Small, insignificant yellow flowerheads may appear in summer, but this cultivar is chiefly valued for its foliage effect. In Ireland it performs best in full sun and very well-drained soil that is poor to moderately fertile, ideally light sandy or chalky; once established it will tolerate dry conditions, but prolonged winter wet and heavy, waterlogged ground should be avoided.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
