Argyranthemum frutescens(white) P19, on a stem

Argyranthemum frutescens(white) P19, on a stem

Argyranthemum frutescens (white) is a frost-tender, evergreen marguerite daisy grown for a long display of white, yellow-eyed blooms from early summer into autumn. In Ireland it thrives in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained, moderately fertile soil, and is excellent for containers or the front of borders; regular deadheading helps to prolong flowering. Not hardy outdoors through winter—treat as seasonal bedding or overwinter in a bright, frost-free place. This plant is supplied trained on a stem for a neat, upright effect.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
