Anemone Wild Swan

Anemone Wild Swan

Anemone ‘Wild Swan’ is a compact, clump-forming deciduous perennial prized for its exceptionally long flowering season. Graceful, single white blooms with soft violet-blue colouring on the reverse are held above neat foliage from late spring into autumn, bringing brightness to borders and containers. Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light shade; deadheading encourages continued bloom. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it typically reaches about 60cm tall and 60–90cm wide in time, making it ideal for informal mixed plantings and cottage-style borders in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
