Alstroemeria 'Duchess Emilie'

Alstroemeria 'Duchess Emilie'

Alstroemeria ‘Duchess Emilie’ is a compact, free-flowering Peruvian lily ideal for borders and containers, providing a long season of blooms from early summer into early autumn and excellent stems for cutting. Grow in full sun or light shade in fertile, well-drained yet moisture-retentive soil. Deadhead by pulling spent stems from the base to encourage more flowers, feed during active growth, and mulch in late autumn to protect crowns through winter in colder spots in Ireland.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
