Agapanthus 'Poppin Purple'

Agapanthus 'Poppin Purple'

Agapanthus 'Poppin Purple' is an evergreen, clump-forming perennial prized for its bold, rounded heads of rich purple flowers held on upright stems above neat, strap-like green leaves in mid to late summer. For Irish gardens, plant in a warm, sheltered spot with plenty of sun, in fertile, free-draining soil; avoid waterlogged ground. Ideal for containers and sunny borders, and well-suited to repeated planting in formal schemes. In colder inland areas, provide winter protection during severe frosts or grow in pots that can be moved under cover.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
